About Our Client
Our client is a leading global telecommunication operator, is looking for a Turkey Business Manager;
The role holder is responsible for leading a team to manage overall sales, business development and oversee operational activities and business delivery for Eastern Mediterranean (EM) sub-region.
He/She should lead the planning, management, development and execution of company strategy for EM.
He/she also directs Go-to-market team (sales, presales, specialists, ..etc) in reaching sales targets, setting performance measures, developing new business and maintaining customer satisfaction within the region.
- To manage overall sales and business development activities of the EM region.
- To define Turkey growth strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Work with business functions in EM and other function in wider company to ensure efficient and successful operations, business delivery and customer service management.
- To act as a guardian of the Turkey P&L through effective management of delivering healthy bids and driving margin improvements and growth in contracts.
- To actively engage with customers and partners in sales and business development activities
- To be directly involved on major accounts and prospects.
- To develop internal and external relationships at an executive level.
- To assist MENA/EM Head of Sales in developing sales strategy, outlook, commitments and objectives
- To represent the company in front of authorities and other external stakeholders
- To oversee and manage Turkey infrastructure, facilities and support systems/services in the region.
- To ensure that Customer Satisfaction surveys are sought and managed within company guidelines
The Successful Applicant
- Educated to degree level, AND relevant job experience around ICT business for not less than 15 years
- May have business qualification/MBA, or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in managing sector or Turkey operation with effective P&L management
- Relevant active network of senior executives around customers, prospects, partners and ICT players
- Good understanding of ICT market in EM and ability to leverage his/her network to develop business
- Understanding of the regulatory, empowerment, labour law, fair trading and competition rules in the Eastern Mediterranean
- In-depth knowledge of relevant market/products.
