About Our Client
Leading global investment company
This position based in DOHA - QATAR. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible:
- To assist managing Equity, Brokerage and Middle Office Operations efficiently and effectively ensuring timely settlement and assist in processing of investment team transaction to avoid any credit risk and to prevent incurring losses;
- To assist other members within operations in daily and ad hoc tasks.
The Successful Applicant
An ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting or MIS. He/she should have a knowledge in banking operations function in Islamic banking or in a large commercial banking environment and should be familiar with all aspects of banking operations i.e. funds transfer, FX and MM deals, time deposits, borrowings and required systems related to Treasury Back Office such as SWIFT. Good analytical, communication, project management, motivation and problem solving skills are key for the role. 1 to 2 years of experience in bank operation field is an advantage. Fluent English and TURKISH is MANDATORY.
