About our client
Our client is a leading agribusiness and food company with integrated operations that circle the globe, stretching from the farm field to the retail shelf.
Due to the necessity to support the Food Category Sales Director in defining the sales strategies for the assigned clients, we are looking for a:
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
Job description
Reporting to the Food Sales Director, our ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the achievement of the assigned sales targets of Private Label Food Products, by the effective management of the Global National Accounts.
- Handling assigned duties with a result-oriented manner and being responsible for the business as own business;
- Dealing with category managers and procurement department managers in Retail Accounts;
- Working in cooperation easily with other departments such as Trading, Logistics, Agriculture and Manufacturing;
- Forecasting cost structure and future prices dependent on commodity market;
- Preparing necessary contracts, proposals, and tenders for the National Clients;
- Following up the commodity business closely and taking initiative on future product pricing strategies;
- Being responsible for Profit and Loss structures of the whole division;
- Understanding of Procurement and Retail Industry relationship;
- Managing a team of Key Accoung Specialist, monitoring the team's sales and overall performances with reporting their evaluation to the superiors;
- Being accountable for the compliance with the spending guidelines and monitoring the performance.
Who we are looking for
The successful candidates are required to have the following experiences and skills:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in Business related subjects or Industrial Engineer degree;
- Six (6) to ten (10) years of professional experience within FMCG industry both food or non-food categories, sales functions preferably in Private Label;
- Five (5) years of experience in Key Account Management roles in FMCG industry;
- Financial expertise and knowledge is highly required due to commodity market related P&L, Pricing, Forecast, Production Cost Analyses;
- Good understanding and knowledge of Commodity Market Dynamics;
- Private Label knowledge and understanding is a plus;
- Dynamic and customer oriented personality who is dedicated, result oriented, good team player and also a good team leader;
- Critical commercial mind and sales oriented;
- High potential, initiative taking personality and could work under extensive pressure;
- Analytical approach capability, understanding cost structures and ability to forecast on a commodity product;
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Fluency in English.
