Job description
Schlumberger has created a world of exciting opportunities for finance professionals by opening a centralised Financial Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our new state-of-the-art Hub has created a unique opportunity to join our organisation at the start-up of these operations, empowering you to increase your commercial exposure and realise the full spectrum of your profession. As a finance expert, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our global operations, build on our global client base and enjoy work that is academically and intellectually stimulating.

Reporting directly to the Regional Controller, key responsibilities include:-
o Timely preparation of accurate financial accounts for respective business segments
o Running day-to-day operations to meet KPI objectives based on agreed SLAs
o Developing regional expertise and performing ad-hoc analysis as required
o Preparing monthly forecast of the P&L accounts
o Supporting Operational Management with analysis and reporting for planning purposes

Who we are looking for
Qualified ACCA / CA / CIMA / CPA / MBA or international equivalent
o Strong financial background within either a large accounting firm or multinational company
o Proficient in languages for assigned geographical responsibilities
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o First class interpersonal skills
o Pro-active, self-motivated and eager to acquire knowledge
o Well developed problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
o Good team player and service orientated
o Internationally mobile, these roles are based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
