Job description
Managing business on a day to day basis to increase sales and improve results through creative and effective use of all resources, including effective leadership and merchandise assortment;
Hiring, evaluating, training, positioning and disciplining the staff in a manner consistent with company policies to reflect business strategy and meet sales goals;
Encouraging and supporting the individual development of staff and communicating to Retail Manager staff suggestions and needs, encouraging exchange of ideas;
Meeting inventory accuracy and shrink requirements (understanding of loss-of-stock levels);
Reviewing merchandise assortment on a regular basis. Planning and taking necessary steps to optimize stock level and stock mix to reflect sales, buying trends and customer demands;
Developing store Business Plan, a clear vision for 1 - 3 years in line with current market trends;
Assuming the role as Business Manager of the store; taking on a strategic approach, responsibility and function as part of the country management team;
Demonstrating sales leadership for staff by playing an active role on the selling floor (Role Model etc);
Continuously motivating sales staff to meet assigned sales and productivity goals;
Implementing events and developing in-store incentives that will continue to grow customer base, with particular emphasis placed on building local market;
Upholding excellent quality, in conjunction with efficient and friendly customer service. Monitoring staff performance to ensure that excellent customer service is maintained;
Being aware of local trading environment and its impact on our sales, including competitors' trading activities;
Formulating and implementing in-store marketing and promotional activities;
Taking ownership of succession planning within all levels and all areas of the store;
Maintaining merchandising standards as set forth by corporate visual department;
Overseeing the implement of proper visual presentation guidelines to project the brand's image and benefit sales through presentation;
Making timely window and interior display changes pro-actively to feature various new items and create excitement;
Working with local Visual Merchandising service provider to achieve goals of proper window installation and display;
Actively involved in providing customer service and maintaining relationships with Very Important Customer clientele;
Ensuring that sales associates have the proper skills to handle complex customer service issues, ie dissatisfied customers, returns, defective merchandise, repairs;
Empowering associates to make decisions to provide the best customer service.
Who we are looking for
Minimum of eight (8) years experience with at least four (4) years of management experience;
Strong knowledge in fashion and luxury retail industry;
Excellent presentation skills;
Capable of analyzing, organizing and planning;
Entrepreneurial spirit;
Presentable, creative, diplomatic and detail oriented;
Strong computer literacy;
Proficiency in English and Turkish, any other language is a plus.
