Our client is one of the leading international DO IT YOURSELF company. For its development of future expansion plans we are looking for category specialist:

Job description
Reporting to the Category Manager of the organization the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

- Identifying the sortiment according to the customer needs;
- Making aggrements with the suppliers by regarding the company policies and needs;
- Supporting category manager to coordination of marketing department and store management;
- Following the turnover,gross profit and inventories of household products;
- Identifying the sales price for the household products;
- Analyzing the competitors,to do price and marketing research;
- Holding regular meetings with the suppliers for the campaigns,promotions and customer complaints;
- Coordinating and updating supplier portfolio based on selling forecasts and contacting suppliers based on forecast updates;
- Preparing and issuing new offers and coordinating the order follow up of existing orders. Maintaining close communication with buyers, suppliers and all internal and external service providers to ensure on-time delivery;
- Provide necessary information for picking-up, shipment and transportation activities if necessary;
- Conducting price negotiations with suppliers.

Who we are looking for
The successful candidate is required to have the following experiences and skills:

- Degree in business, economics or international relations;
- At least 3 years similar experience preferably in home textile;
- Strong background in do it yourself companies;
- Strong planning and organizational skills;
- Purchasing background;
- Knowledge about margins and budgets;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;
- Knowledge of forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales;
- Excellent pricing, negotiation and communication abilities;
- Ability to work both individually and as part of team;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, German is an asset.
