Our client is one of the leading companies in building material market. For its future developments, we're looking for:

Job description
- Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this position is responsible for innovation, technology, and new product development ;
- Work closely with the business and the division leadership to understand strategy and develop technological concepts and products to help realize that strategy ;
- In collaboration with Marketing and senior management, sets the long-term R&D strategy and oversees development of all products ;
- Works with a variety of internal and external business partners to identify innovative concepts and ideas to enhance the Building Products Division's status in the industry ;
- Works with peers and senior management to identify, develop and deliver products and solutions to significantly improve the business ;
- Collaboratively lead the Innovation Center in setting the innovation agenda ;
- Leads and has responsibility for significant product development offerings to include enhancements and sustaining activities ;
- Has a responsibility of line managing of diverse engineering functions ;
- Develops and negotiates new product commercialization agreements; ensure schedules and milestones are maintained.

Who we are looking for
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related discipline ;
- Director level with at least 5 years of R&D organization leadership experience ;
Strong team management skills, e.g. working with operations, business management, marketing ;
- Produce schedule compliance consistent with current business needs and future requirements; expert collaboration and negotiation skills ;
Project planning and management skills, including ability to identify and assess risk to determine action ;
- Provide leadership to implement robust design methodologies into design and sustaining engineering processes ;
- Comfortable in developing and managing within a matrix organization.
