About our client
Our client is an international producer of food, agricultural, industrial products and services. Due to growth in their organization, we are looking for a:
Technical Sales Manager / Construction Chemicals&Materials
Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible from:
- Identifying and closing technical gaps, executing and achieving growth targets;
- Examining potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, customer requirements, potential and evaluate options; making value propositions, resolving internal priorities;
- Developing and managing (with marketing manager) marketing tools , such as customer communication, direct marketing, presentations, seminars, and input for information tools;
- Identifying new business opportunities, translating customer needs;
- Creating distinctive value for customers in the construction market segment;
- Building and increasing knowledge of company's products for industrial applications of various product lines;
- Identifying trendsetter ideas, by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, by tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments; monitoring competitor behavior and market trends.
Who we are looking for
The successfull candidate should have the following experience and skills:
- BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering;
- Five (5)- seven(7) years sales or business development experience in the industrial/chemical industry;
- Building the market position by locating, developing, defining and achieving growth goals;
- Good understanding of Construction category, key market trends and new technologies;
- Ability to build long-term, sustainable business-to-business relationships within customer organizations;
- Demonstrated collaboration and leadership skills;
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills at all levels in an organization;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Successful negotiation skills;
- Ability to successfully operate in an ambiguous environment;
- Ability to travel 50-60%, both domestically and internationally.
