About our client
We are looking for an acocunt manager to focus on food industries for our client which is a global provider of conveying solutions.

Job description
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for ;

- Selling activities to food processing accounts within Turkey, which might include corparate headquarters of some larger companies;
- Will be part of and work closely with a strongly motivated and flexible industry team ( account team leaders, customer service, inside sales & sales engineering;
- Will also interact frequently with colleagues providing expert technical and application support;
- Full responsibility for managing the existing client portfolio and further build and expand the client portfolio with in the targeted industry;
- Day to day contacts within the given industry will be mainly with the end users at a high level and with some OEM's;
- Provide your clients with the best (technical) tailor-made solution and/or advice, tuned to their needs;
- Using Intralox' products for their applications and look for new opportunities for their products;
- Occasional troubleshooting;
- Continuously increase industry knowledge and effectively apply this knowledge to strategy;
- Full responsibility for the sales results within the targeted industry segment;
- Interpret data, draw conclusions and make strategic recommendations based on this information;
- Prepare timely, accurate and concise reports on industry issues (e.g. publish regular information using industry reports and updates; report on field trips, tradeshows and client visits; industry meetings and discussions);
- Consistent use of sales tools to support the sales activities. These are 90 day activity plans, opportunity plans, call preparation plans and follow up of calls in sales information systems.

Who we are looking for
The successful candidate should have the following experience and skills;

- Minimum of 7 years solid and relevant high level sales (selling systems and solutions) experience in a B-to-B environment, preferably to end-users;
- Excellent knowledge of and experience within the industry (General Food Industries); its major players; its customs and its cultures; the technology;
- Proven track record in international sales and thorough awareness of sales concepts, theories and practices;
- Preferably experience in conveying, equipment selling or related industries;
- Self-motivated, pro-active, hands-on, self-managed and independent;
- Strong multi-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively cross border and cross cultural;
- Commercial, committed and result driven personality, used to tight deadlines;
- Flexible, ambitious and enthusiastic team player with a strong personality and a good sense of humor;
- Good verbal/written English language skills are essential (company language), able to communicate at senior level both verbally and in writing;
- No problem with extensive travel within Turkey and across borders;
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Comfortable communicator at all levels;
- Strong social, interpersonal, multi-level and multi-cultural skills;
- Able to work cross-border;
- Analytical and strategic thinking;
- Location: Istanbul or Bursa area is preferable.
