As a Climate and Weather Analysis Specialist positioned in Strategy and Portfolio Management Department you will play a pivotal role in our clients dedicated team, specializing in wind optimization. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the long and short-term forecasting efforts for our wind and solar assets, contributing directly to the maximization profitability.

  • Our client possesses power plants located all over Turkey and a portfolio consisting of mainly renewable energy sources.



İş Tanımı



  • Apply advanced methods to optimize both wind and solar energy assets, focusing on short and long-term periods to maximize returns.


  • Oversee the commercial operations of mainly wind and also solar farms, aligning activities with precise energy forecasts, environmental considerations, and market dynamics.


  • Make strategic decisions regarding the operational capacity and timing of both wind and solar farm activities.


  • Monitor and adhere to budget targets for renewable assets, while actively exploring potential growth opportunities.


  • Develop and refine models to forecast energy generation for both wind and solar assets, enhancing prediction accuracy.


  • Handle and analyze data related to meteorology, solar radiation, and the environment.


  • Strengthen capabilities in managing wind and solar assets, which includes both operational tasks (such as optimization and planning of energy production, collaboration with operational teams) and project tasks (like tool automation and methodology development).


  • Evaluate and analyze forecast performance using live data platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement of predictive models.



Aradığımız Profil

General Qualifications:



  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.


  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.


  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with a collaborative approach.


  • Efficient in delivering precise and actionable insights.


  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.


  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.



Technical Qualifications:



  • Academic background in a field that requires analytical skills (e.g., science, engineering, mathematics).


  • 3-4 years of relevant experience.


  • Preferred: Knowledge of Python, SQL, and PowerBI.


  • Beneficial: Understanding of energy modeling for both wind and solar, experience in related fields, and familiarity with meteorological data.
