Our client is a well-reputed global bank.
Job Description
The successful candidate will report directly to Head of FI Department. Correspondent Banking Assistant Manager (Financial Institutions) will:
- Have direct impact on strategic growth opportunities of a diverse client portfolio;
- Review FI credit limits and prepare Credit Analysis (CAs) proposals for new/renewals of FI portfolios.
- Be an Expert in International Trade Finance, ECA loans, Trade Loans, Structuring Funding, Syndicated Loans, DCM Products;
- Develop and monitor the trade finance and treasury lines with the banks;
- Acquire an understanding of interdependencies across the regional and support organizations of Global Banking;
- Develop an understanding of the risk and compliance issues associated with the portfolio, particularly in correspondent banking and Payment Intermediaries;
- Negotiating on KYC/AML issues with the banks;
- Visit the correspondent banks in regular basis.
The Successful Applicant
An ideal candidate should have an excellent academic track record from top-tier institutions; Minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience in CORRESPONDENT BANKING/ FINANCIAL Institutions, Thorough knowledge of International Banking services and products, A strong understanding of the overall banking environment, Good knowledge of TRADE FINANCE, Payments, Treasury products and services as well as back office operations, Sound understanding of Financial Institutions credit, Knowledge of political, economic and regulatory environments in the banking industry.
Excellent written/verbal communication and reporting skills in Turkish and English is a must.
