  • Our client is a European Headquartered company specialising in rail industry related activities and is operating across multiple continents, they serve both public and private sector operators. Their long-standing engineering expertise positions them as a key player in the rail industry.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the service maintenance, business development, contract management and all organisation across multiple locations in Turkey, managing diverse teams including technicians and engineers.
  • Ensure smooth execution of all operational, commercial, fleet management, supply chain, financial, and HR-related activities.
  • Develop organisational and process structures at service sites in line with ISO9001 standards, ECM regulations, and internal company guidelines.
  • Drive the establishment of new maintenance sites and partnerships; manage new contract implementations and related projects.
  • Take ownership of budget planning, monitoring, and risk management, ensuring transparent reporting of KPIs to senior management located abroad.
  • Coordinate effectively with customers, regulatory authorities, internal departments, and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Act as the key commercial and contractual interface with external stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
  • Provide active support for sales initiatives and new business development.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Electrical, Electric / Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering is required; an additional qualification in business administration is a strong plus. Professionals with no prior experience in railway related industries with will not be accepted.
  • Solid team and project management experience in the rail industry is essential.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with a structured and professional approach to work.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a hands-on attitude and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • High level of resilience, motivation, and a positive outlook.
  • Fluency in Turkish, with strong English communication skills; German knowledge is an advantage.
