This position is expected to carry out technical processes, pricing, product management, promotion, sales, and auditing activities needed to meet the platform's requirements, while developing overall sales strategies for all product categories on our client's sustainability platform, in order to increase sales and achieve set targets.

Our client is a sustainability platform that brings together environmentally friendly product and service sellers and consumers who prefer environmentally friendly products, and focuses on information, sustainable products and innovative services.

İş Tanımı

  • Identify and prioritize all system improvements/optimizations to meet all e-commerce requirements, such as vendor panel, platform, campaign modules, and integrations of appropriate software in this area, using technical knowledge, shape software needs, open requests, deploy them, and track with periodic tests/controls by working with the platform manager.
  • Manage product management processes of all categories on this platform, be active in product approval processes, and support relevant teams in this regard.
  • Find potential vendors that meet the criteria, explain the platform to them and persuade them to join the platform, visit vendor candidates on-site if necessary, manage contract and registration processes, ensure agreements and continuous control of listing products in the relevant category, manage all processes from the agreement stage to the customer adding the product to the cart and purchasing it, then the control of supplier shipment deadline and delivering it to the customer, and manage all background operational processes supporting this, ensuring flawless operation by communicating with the call center on relevant issues.
  • Identify new product category opportunities based on competitor data in the market, user feedback, product data, trends, and information from internal teams, conduct analyses, enrich existing categories, and ensure the introduction of potential suppliers and products in these areas.
  • Ensure that contracts are continuously updated according to relevant regulations by working with the legal side.
  • Manage the process of developing and maintaining relationships with companies, meet their requests, and keep supplier satisfaction at the highest level.
  • Track the positioning and performance of products in these categories on the platform.
  • Closely monitor critical metrics such as category sales conversion, cancellation/return rates, and determine strategies to achieve targets, take proactive actions.
  • Manage operations to achieve the sustainability platform's revenue and profitability targets.
  • Plan campaigns based on seasonal effects, trends, etc., for products to meet KPIs, conduct analyses, and design subsequent setups according to the actual results.
  • Inform the marketing team about new products and campaigns to ensure the preparation of the correct communication plan.

  • Graduated from undergraduate programs of universities.
  • Closely follows innovations in e-commerce and the digital world, with at least 5 years of experience in category management in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, or similar projects.
  • Knowledgeable about the operational processes of e-commerce sites and online marketplace stores.
  • Able to adapt to the dynamics of the startup world.
  • Good level in speaking and writing English.
  • No travel restrictions.
  • Holds a Class B driver's license and actively drives.
  • For male candidates, military service must be completed.
  • Proficient in Office programs.
  • Personal development and performance-oriented.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strategic thinking, solution, and results-oriented.
  • Advanced planning and organizational skills.
  • Skilled in report preparation and presentation.
