Job Description



  • Monitor and analyze electricity market prices, including Market Clearing Price (PTF) and balancing power markets.


  • Develop, negotiate, and manage Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with power producers and market participants.


  • Collaborate with traders, market operators, and internal stakeholders to improve trading and operational processes.


  • Conduct price forecasting and market analysis to support energy sales and trading strategies.


  • Actively communicate with power generation companies to sell electricity and manage commercial relationships.


  • Track market trends, regulatory changes, and developments in the Turkish and European energy markets.


  • Use data analytics tools (e.g. Python, SQL, Excel) to support market analysis and trading decisions.


  • Work as part of a 7-10 person trading/market team, contributing to team objectives and knowledge sharing.


  • Support team leads and contribute to continuous improvement of trading strategies and processes.



The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or similar); MBA is a strong plus.


  • Proven experience in energy trading, energy markets, balancing power markets, or market analysis.


  • Solid understanding of PTF, EPİAŞ mechanisms, and electricity market pricing dynamics.


  • Experience or strong interest in PPA structures and commercial negotiations.


  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market signals effectively.


  • Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Python and/or SQL is highly desirable.


  • Good communication skills; able to work cross-functionally and manage external stakeholder relationships.


  • Team-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


  • Outgoing, commercially mindeed, and confident in market-facing roles.
