Job Description

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Be a key point of contact for all associates in HR related topics and a strategical business partner for functions in plant as well
  • Coordinate and guarantee that processes as well as HR programs are being correctly carried out around internal policies
  • Contribute to personal development of key talents and individual cases in line with internal systems and valuesMeet organization's legal and contractual obligations, needs for personnel documentation and assist in workforce planning and management
  • Lead and direct plant HR activities to support the achievement of plant performance metrics in the areas of safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • Implement legal requirements regarding environment & safety
  • Taking a hands-on approach and successfully monitoring the pulse of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Works closely with business managers to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention;
  • Providing International HR Administration and continual monitoring of employee files & HR;
  • Professional support for International HR/employee related issues and organizational development including legal issues;
  • Partnering with the other business departments to deliver recruitment strategy, hiring plan, candidate sourcing and offer approvals;
  • Conduct of an annual review of talent pool and succession planning, management of top talent retention and identification.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should hold a university degree in related field and needs to have at least 5 years of professional HR experience in dynamic sectors, industrial union experience and plant HR policies, standards, rules and procedures, Familiarity with Labor Law, Collective Labor Agreement, Social Security Act is a must. Excellent communication skills and diplomatic manner in an international context, Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Good personnel cost budgeting and HR controlling skills, analytical thinking and HANDS-ON APPROACH is required.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English is A MUST.
