Job Description

  • In this role you will oversee all HR activities for Turkey and Austria in close collaboration with our HR Team in Hamburg, Germany.
  • You will be taking care of all HR processes and enhancing employee's experience by continuously improving and implementing new HR processes.
  • You will create job descriptions and post job openings, communicate with applicants, pre-select candidates and organize and conduct interviews.
  • You will be responsible to oversee the employee onboarding process.
  • You will organize trainings, development initiatives and manage performance management related processes.
  • You will advocate for corporate behaviours.
  • You will autonomously manage daily HR admin duties, including employee file maintenance, document creation (e.g. employment contracts, work certificates, reference letters).
  • You will be the main point of contact for the external payroll office and will prepare relevant employee data and checking of payroll documents.
  • You will participate in creating and implementing HR policies, standards, and processes and ensuring compliance with local employment policies and labour regulations.
  • You will prepare HR Reporting in close cooperation with Finance & Controlling.
  • You will assist with international HR topics and participate in HR projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related program.
  • At least 3 years of relevant and proven experience as an HR Generalist with demonstrated successes.
  • Initial understanding of all general HR topics, such as the Turkish and Austrian labour law, recruiting processes, employee relations, and compensation methodology.
  • A high level of commitment, enthusiasm for work and driving initiatives forward, interest in learning and development, precise work approach despite a practical mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and international working environment.
  • Enjoyment of working in a multinational team with openness.
  • Fluent German and Turkish language skills is a must, very good English language skills are desirable.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Experience with HR Management Systems, preferably Personio and proficient in Office 365.
