The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse staff and transportation process, maintaining inventory control, developing logistics operations and improving key performance results to meet the needs of the fast growing business.

Our client is the largest home improvement retailer. Our client is operating over 3.000 stores all over the world.

Job Description

  • Manage, motivate, and monitor the performance of the operations team to effectively conduct warehouse activities: receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff; provide training, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Improve operational KPI's and proactively ensure achievement of performance targets.
  • Optimize workflows and balance workload with workforce efficiency.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and productivity.
  • Address and rapidly resolve any operational or logistical issues that arise in the warehouse, including delays, damaged goods, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, develop projects to reduce lead times.
  • Track and maintain accurate stock levels, manage stock movements, and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage the logistics budget for warehouse operations, labor costs, equipment, transportation, maintenance, etc. Execute cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
  • Ensure warehouse and logistics operations comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with global and internal team management teams to align strategic objectives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing large-scale teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation processes.
  • Expertise in operational KPIs and budget management.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze data and develop reports to drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with international and regional teams.
  • Advanced level of English (both written and spoken).
