About Our Client

The company we are consulting for is one of the largest fashion retail groups in the Middle East, operating across multiple countries with a strong portfolio of well-established and fast-growing brands. As part of its continued expansion strategy, the group is launching new brands, and we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Menswear Designer to play a key role in shaping these upcoming concepts.
The position is based at the Nişantaşı office in Istanbul, working closely with regional and international teams.

Job Description

  • Lead the design and development of seasonal menswear collections in line with brand DNA and business strategy
  • Conduct market and trend research; develop mood boards, color palettes, and fabric stories
  • Manage the design process from initial concept to final sample approval
  • Prepare full collections (30-50 styles), including complete outfits and category balance
  • Create detailed CAD designs and technical packs
  • Work closely with merchandising and production teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate directly with suppliers regarding samples, fittings, quality, and cost negotiations
  • Follow up on fittings and revisions to achieve optimal fit and quality
  • Support styling and photo shoots when required to ensure design integrity
  • Mentor, guide, and support junior designers within the team



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in menswear design, preferably within retail or international fashion brands
  • Strong sense of global trends, silhouettes, color, and fabric for menswear
  • Proven experience in creating commercial yet distinctive collections
  • Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and fit
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD systems
  • Strong hand-sketching and technical design skills
  • Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers, preferably in export markets
  • Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills
  • Degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
