Key Responsibilities

  • Develop core navigation features for Android platforms
  • Integrate map SDKs and routing APIs into the application
  • Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and battery consumption
  • Implement turn-by-turn navigation UI and background location tracking
  • Work with backend abstraction APIs and ensure seamless data flow
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and software design discussions

Required Technical Skills

  • Kotlin (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of Android architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
  • Proficiency with Jetpack components
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Location services
    • Background services
    • Offline caching mechanisms
  • Experience consuming REST APIs
  • Ability to optimize real-time, high-frequency UI updates



Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience developing with Flutter
  • Familiarity with various map SDKs
  • Background in automotive or mobility applications
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to Agentic AI or AI-assisted software development
  • Experience working with OpenStreetMap



Ideal Experience Profile

  • Delivered complex, consumer-facing mobile applications
  • Hands-on experience with map-heavy or tracking-intensive user interfaces
  • Strong debugging, profiling, and performance-tuning skills
