Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar Jobs Added 26/02/2026Opportunity to manage strategic procurement in a growing, international company High visibility and ownership within the organizationAbout Our ClientOur client is a global industrial packaging manufacturer, recognized for its reliable production capabilities and strong presence across international markets.Job DescriptionLead end-to-end procurement processes covering polymer raw materials (PP, PE) and formulation additives, technical materials, spare parts and MRO, contract manufacturing suppliers and technical components, as well as consumables and packaging materials.Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with company cost, quality, and supply continuity targets.Monitor global polymer markets and price benchmarks (e.g., ICIS, LOR) and manage index-based purchasing strategies.Conduct global supplier research, qualification, and performance evaluation.Lead commercial and technical negotiations to secure optimal pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, minimum order quantities, and supply conditions.Develop alternative suppliers and materials to ensure supply continuity and cost optimization.Closely monitor raw material price trends, freight costs, currency fluctuations, and customs regulations.Establish robust supply chain and inventory management practices, ensuring lead time optimization and effective stock control.Manage ERP procurement modules and ensure accurate reporting and KPI tracking.Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.Lead and develop the procurement team.Report directly to the General Manager.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of polymer raw materials (PP, PE), formulation additives, and broader technical procurement categories including MRO and contract manufacturing components.Proven experience in global sourcing, import operations, and index-based purchasing strategies.Hands-on experience in supplier development and alternative material qualification processes.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Solid understanding of global market dynamics and supply chain management principles.Experience managing ERP procurement modules and tracking procurement KPIs.Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing and developing a team.Advanced level of English proficiency.No travel restrictions; willing and able to travel .Analytical, results-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic and operational responsibilities.What's on OfferThe opportunity to take a strategic, high‑visibility procurement leadership roleConsultantElif CelebiQuote job refJN-022026-6956502Job summarySectorLogistics, Procurement & Supply ChainSub SectorSupply Chain ManagementIndustryIndustrial / ManufacturingLocationAmasyaContract TypePermanentConsultant nameElif CelebiJob ReferenceJN-022026-6956502
