Job Description

  • Accounting and reporting accounts receivable & payable and managing/analysing the financial results of the processes including e-invoices.
  • Active role in account reconciliation process with customers/suppliers.
  • Providing direct assistance and reporting to the finance leader in overseeing daily operations.
  • Working with the finance leader and other departments on process review projects.
  • Assisting finance leader in forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Performing financial analysis across all business operations and preparing management reports.
  • Managing Accounts Receivable and Payable (AR&AP) processes, including preparing, recording, analysing, and reporting accounting transactions.
  • Ensuring consistency of AR&AP and intercompany invoices with related documentation (PO, contracts, agreements).
  • Participating in cash-flow management (weekly payments, monthly intercompany payments) with finance leader and central treasury coordination; including bank transactions.
  • Performing month-end closing, reporting, and analysis.
  • Preparing and monitoring monthly/quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Preparing ad-hoc reports and supporting internal/external audits.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields (CPA is a plus).
  • 5-7 years' experience in general and/or accounts payable accounting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Turkish and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good knowledge of Oracle or equivalent ERP systems.
