Job Description

  • Provide technical leadership and support for aluminum doors, windows, curtain wall, and façade systems, including custom project adaptations.
  • Act as the main technical contact for internal teams and external stakeholders (fabricators, architects, consultants, contractors).
  • Review and validate project specifications, drawings, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with company systems and local regulations.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of technical engineers and estimators, ensuring high quality project support, accurate take-offs, and timely quotations.
  • Work closely with sales and business development teams to provide technical input during bidding and project proposal stages.
  • Supervise and develop the technical support team, ensuring timely and accurate responses to technical queries and documentation requests.
  • Coordinate with R&D and product development teams for localization, testing, and certification of products for the Turkish and regional markets.
  • Conduct product trainings, workshops, and presentations for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Manage the implementation of design tools, BIM libraries, and technical manuals in line with Group standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety, performance, and sustainability requirements in system designs.
  • Support quality control and fabrication guidance for key project implementations when required.
  • Prepare and provide the reports as per the requirement of the GM.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a technical/engineering role within the façade, aluminum systems, or architectural building materials industry.
  • Proven experience in aluminum systems, particularly windows, doors, curtain walls, and structural glazing.
  • Strong understanding of design standards, thermal & structural performance, and systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and structural/calculation software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in Turkish and English (written and spoken).
  • Customer-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with international companies or brands is an advantage.
