Job Description

  • Coordinate the Tax & Customs Reimbursement process for project-related import and export activities.
  • Collect and consolidate information regarding customs duties, taxes and other reimbursable costs incurred during import/export operations.
  • Review and verify supporting documentation received from customs brokers, logistics providers and internal teams.
  • Prepare complete reimbursement packages and ensure all required documentation and supporting records are available.
  • Submit reimbursement documentation and requests to the Client and follow up on approvals, clarifications and outstanding claims.
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking files for submitted, approved and pending reimbursement requests.
  • Upload and manage relevant documentation through Unifier or similar project/document management systems.
  • Work in close coordination with Customs Brokers, Logistics, Administration, Finance & Control (AFC), the Project Team and the Client.
  • Prepare periodic reports regarding reimbursement activities, submitted and approved amounts, and outstanding claims.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely processing of high-volume project documentation.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • University degree in a relevant field such as International Trade, Logistics or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in customs operations, import/export, foreign trade, project logistics, tax/customs processes or reimbursement-related activities.
  • Good knowledge of Turkish customs procedures, customs duties, taxes and import/export documentation.
  • Experience working with customs brokers and logistics service providers is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in large-scale energy, EPC, construction or industrial projects would be an advantage.
  • Ability to review and manage large volumes of documentation.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with document/project management systems.
  • Experience with Unifier or similar systems would be an advantage.
  • Fluent/native Turkish and good command of English, with the ability to use English actively in a professional environment
