Job Description

  • Lead new product development processes from concept to mass production (design, prototyping, validation, industrialization)
  • Manage and continuously improve existing products in terms of performance, cost, and manufacturability
  • Oversee R&D project portfolio, including planning, budgeting, and KPI tracking
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing R&D team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, Quality, and Procurement
  • Define product roadmaps and evaluate new product ideas aligned with business strategy
  • Ensure preparation and management of technical documentation, specifications, and standards
  • Drive customer-focused improvements based on feedback and complaints
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Establish testing procedures, validation processes, and risk analysis frameworks
  • Monitor global technology trends, suppliers, and innovations; participate in international fairs and industry events

The Successful Applicant

A successful R&D Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • PhD is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of R&D and product development experience
  • Advanced level of English
  • Proven track record in team management and leading multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in manufacturing industries (machinery, metal, automotive, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, technical drawing, and 3D modeling
  • Solid understanding of full product lifecycle
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
