Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, tax audits, and ensure compliance with group accounting policies.
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and compliant monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, including reporting to the global headquarters.
  • Manage and supervise intercompany, export, and import financial transactions and related reporting activities, as well as taxation practices and statutory filings. (ÖTV knowledge is preferred.)
  • Design, implement, and enhance internal control frameworks to improve compliance, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up on findings.
  • Liaise with global headquarters to adopt and maintain consistent financial processes and SAP usage.
  • Prepare, monitor, and follow up on cash flow reporting.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to support financial accuracy and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with VUK regulations as well as IFRS, US GAAP, or applicable group accounting standards.
  • Lead financial process improvement initiatives, including automation and best-practice enhancements.



Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare, review, and validate financial statements in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the chart of accounts and alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and compliance.



Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Analyze variances against budgets and prior periods and provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee credit management, collection performance, and customer credit risk assessments.
  • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvements through process optimization, automation, and reporting enhancements.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses and support strategic finance projects as required by management.
  • Develop financial scenarios and recommendations to support business decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or external/internal audit, preferably within multinational organizations.
  • Strong background in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Solid financial analysis and business interpretation skills.
  • Proven track record in managing complex financial operations and consolidations.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and global compliance requirements.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Excel and/or BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Military service completed.
