Job Description

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, sales and working capital reports on time, in strict adherence to statutory and Group reporting deadlines.
  • Uploading group financial statements to group consolidation tools, ensuring error free sign-off.
  • Prepare and upload bridge explaining difference between statutory and IFRS financial statements to group consolidation tools.
  • Preparing and presenting production costs per site, fully explaining differences vs prior period and budget,
  • Analyzing and explaining variances versus budget, and facilitating forecasting.
  • Follow applicable and Group budgeting guidelines, prepare budget reports, and explain variances.
  • Preparing customer risk, risk coverages and A/R aging report and providing early warning to sales.
  • Preparing all provision calculations in line with Group reporting guidelines and IFRS.
  • Supporting Accounting Manager in audit and internal control processes.
  • Monitor and report non quality costs with improvement recommendation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in audit, preferably with a Big 4 or leading audit firm.
  • Experience in customer credit controlling.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • High learning and adaptation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and digital-curious.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.
  • Experience with databases, strong MS Excel skills.
