We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support regulatory compliance activities across our nutrition and wellness product portfolio in Turkey. This role will be responsible for ensuring products, labeling, claims, and documentation comply with local regulations while partnering closely with cross-functional and international teams.

Job Description

  • Manage regulatory compliance activities for food supplements and related product categories in Turkey.
  • Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documentation required for product registrations, notifications, and approvals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with relevant regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
  • Review product labels, packaging artwork, promotional materials, and product claims to ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Monitor changes in local regulations and assess potential business impacts.
  • Provide regulatory guidance and support to Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal, and Commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with global regulatory teams to align local requirements with international business initiatives.
  • Support new product launches, product updates, and portfolio management activities from a regulatory perspective.
  • Maintain accurate regulatory records and ensure timely completion of compliance-related documentation.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and internal compliance projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within the food supplements, FMCG, pharmaceutical, medical device, or cosmetics industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Turkish food supplement and food regulations.
  • Proven experience working with regulatory submissions, product notifications, and government authorities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attentionn to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in an international or matrix organization is considered an advantage.
