Tell us about your Michael Page career so far

It has been less than a year since I joined MichaelPage, but I feel so adopted. I embraced the company culture and my job as I’ve been working here for longer than it actually is. Michael Page is very welcoming and motivating.

Why did you join Michael Page?

After doing some research and my interviews, I saw that Michael Page will develop my skills in various areas like B2B sales, business generation, recruitment as well as my interpersonal skills. Plus, knowing that my personal performance will be the only criteria for my career progression ensured me that I should go for it.

How do you benefit from your previous experience in Tourism & Leisure?

Tourism and Leisure industry is based on human relations and high quality service, which is very similar to recruitment industry. I have been using these two a lot in my current job now. I know that strong human relations and providing high quality service will help me a lot to be successful in Michael Page.

What do you like the most about your job?

The general belief is that our job is mostly human resources, however it is only a part. In fact, we are doing a lot of business generation, sales and recruitment. To be successful in this job, you need to be strong also in these, which is the part I like most. I enjoy to be in constant contact with current and possible clients, generating new jobs and to see it is always rewarded in Page.

What advice would you give someone who wants to join recruitment?

If they want to step in this area, Page is the right place to be. They will improve themselves every day, have strong communications with people from different industries, will manage all processes themselves. Although it requires hard work, Michael Page offers you a lot in your career. There’s a wide range of opportunities. Be ready to climb career steps fast!
