What lead you to choose a career in recruitment, namely at Page?

When I graduated university I met with PageGroup and during the interviews I saw that this company has a huge reputation and an impressive work environment.

Interviewers were very transparent, helpful, smiling, positive and dynamic and I wanted to be a part of this fantastic team.

I started my career as a Management Trainee at Page and I immediately understood that the company would give me an opportunity to improve my skills. When I started working at PageGroup I felt like this is my comfort zone. I have been working at Page for eight years and I became a Manager in Sales & Marketing divison and I have been working with a fantastic team.

And how as been your evolution in the Group since you joined the team?

I knew that career paths and job roles are clearly defined at PageGroup and it makes me very excited and motivated to reach my maximum potential. I was sure that the company would reward me for great results. To be a successful consultant at Page you need to be multitasking, very hardworking, dynamic, a team worker and have a strong character. The company gave me the chance to improve and many of my skills to be more successful.

You now coordinate, great results, the flashes. What are the main challenges coordinating this project, while managing a team and developing recruitment processes?

PageGroup helps each employee to choose their career path; I have chosen the people management career path in 2017 and I have been working with a great team. Although it is really motivating to work with a team, it brings some difficulties such as time management and prioritization. But since all roles are clearly defined at PageGroup you are able to understand how each position supports the other so I am willing to continue to work with a team.

I have been also managing a global project which is called “Flash Campaign” and I am representing Türkiye in this project with great colleagues. It is another great opportunity to work with global teams and improve my communication, delegation and team management skills. I really like working ina multitasking and dynamic environment, it makes me more motivated and engaged while working.

Which skills do you consider essential to lead this project in a successful way?

In order to lead this project in a successful way I have been always contacting with other employees, who are also involved in it. At Page, it is very important to be good at communication and order to be efficient.
